snorkeling:
We swam
Through the tropical oasis
Of coral kingdoms and forgotten places
Of a lagoon
Sea turtles gliding below us
Stingrays hovering over the sea floor.
Angelfish playing peek-a-boo in the crevices
Of the archaic reefs that are planted to the sandy earth.
The sunlight breaks through
The water casting crystal
Images on the ocean floor.
This is heaven
On earth.
