Top Red
My blackberry curve won’t turn on and the red button flashes on top when plugged into my pc. What’s wrong? hel?
Today while sitting on my desk at work my blackberry curve only 3 months old vibrated and than powered off..i removed the battery and it still wouldn’t turn on.when i got home i attempted to charge it to no avail. The top red button flashes a couple times and thats it. I plugged it in my pc to make sure it wasnt the charger but itdid the same. i removed the batter and plugged it in and the screen lights upwith a half battery and a red slash over it..The white tab on the phone is still white..The bottom of the battery however has a white tab wit red x’s on it..could it be defective? please help i’m lost without my phone.

Depending on what lead up to the state its in you most likely can fix your Curve.
You’ll need to have the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and Device software install on your computer so that you can reload the device software onto your device.

Make sure you download and install both the Device software and the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software.
