car seat questions?? Is this safe or should I return it?
My son is 6 months old and very tall for his age so his doctor told me today to switch from the traditional carry style infant carseats to a convertible carseat. I purchased an Evenflo Momentum 65 but I am having a hard time finding reviews on this car seat and I am worried about the new technology. Since I have a smaller car the carseat does not fit the best in the middle like our other carseat. So I want to know if this will be safe to put this carseat behind the passenger seat? The momentum claims to be better for side impacts but I don’t want to trust that. Or should I return it for a smaller carseat that will still fit rear facing in the middle of the backseat?

Most convertible car seats don’t fit well in the middle. I have my son’s carseat on the rear passenger side of our little Honda Civic. If you don’t feel comfortable with it, then go with your instinct. You need to feel confident in your purchase.
