Sleeper Outfit
Am I an “Indian Giver” just because I asked to borrow something?
When I found out my second child was going to be a boy, I gave the majority of my girl clothes to my sister-in-law (who’s girl is younger than mine). This winter was especially cold in our house, so I asked her if I could BORROW the fleece sleeper outfits I gave her because my son wears two of them to bed and it wouldn’t matter if the underneath one was pink. She has borrowed almost every piece of baby equipment I own–even my electric breast pump! For weeks she gave me the “cold shoulder” and I had no idea why. Today, it came out that she was annoyed that I asked her for the clothes back (about six outfits from the hundreds that I gave her). I even made it VERY clear that I was only going to borrow them. She’s not even using them. They were just sitting in a box.
MY QUESTION IS…is it wrong to ask to borrow something that you gave to someone even though they are not even using it (and never did use it, I might add)?
no its not and besides It doesnot sound like you did anything wrong. If she had a problem she should have just said something.
