Do you feel like an impostor when you walk into a baby store?
I absolutely lovely looking at all things baby- baby gap, pottery barn baby, janie & jack- but I feel like such an impostor when I’m there! I remember feeling (in the 2 minutes I managed to stay pregnant) like it was finally ok to imagine buying all the little baby clothes.
Does anyone else feel like this, or do I just have a chip on my shoulder because I don’t have a baby yet?
Actually, if someone else would also report that sad little troll, I would appreciate it.
Hey Ava, I kinda know what you mean, Ive been trying to look at baby stuff without making it look to obvious, I was with my hubby and my sister the other day and my hubby said he wanted to look at baby stuff but it was a bit weird with my annoying sister there making comments, so we couldn’t look and I had to make excuses like oh my friend would love this when she has her baby. I kinda walk in have a quick look around, head straight for the toys while trying to get a look at the tinny clothes as I walk past, pick up a toy talk about how cute it is, quickly buy it then leave! I feel like I have been holding my breath while in there. Cant wait to be able to spend hours just browsing without people questioning my motives!!
