Imaginary Friend
What is wrong with having an imaginary friend?
I have an imaginary friend that know one else knows about even though I know he is imaginary. I still have real life friends but I know if I told people they would think I’m crazy. If we can only experience the world how we perceive it, what is the difference between what is “real” and what “isn’t”.
I know you are writing this to have a little fun but the truth is that imaginary friends are very helpful psychologically. It is like talking to yourself which can have benefits such as in blowing off steam. I remember years ago I used to have some fun with an exercise pretending I was on some talk show to blow off steam. It worked! I’d kind of talk out whatever was bothering me and feel better. Then I’d move on past that problem.
WIth all the people who post here that are forever hung up on old problems I may have been on to something.
