Fitz and Floyd Cookie Jar?
I recently came into a Fitz and Floyd Holiday Panda Bear Cookie Jar from 1984. He is wearing a red hat with a holly berry leaf in it. I have searched all over the internet, even contacting Fitz and Floyd customer service. They no longer have this particualr piece in their database. I have googled it, and still cannot find this thing.
Can anyone out there tell me anything about this piece? My mother-in-law was going to sell it for a couple bucks, but with it being a Fitz and Floyd from 1984, it could be worth more. How much is this thing worth?
Yes, it is a Fitz and Floyd.
List it on eBay for $25. If it is one that collectors care about, they’ll drive up the price to what is fair. The best eBay listing (for the seller) ends mid-day on a week-end, when people are online. I see several fitz and floyd holiday cookie jars listed at $35 “buy it now” that haven’t sold. That tells me that $35 is not cheap enough to insure that someone will buy it (that is probably the “book value”). Shoppers on eBay will buy something if they feel it is a bargain.
There is a witch cookie jar with 6 bids, at $76.95 with 4 days remaining on the auction. The rest have no bids.
