help with my story [wakingupfromnightmare]?
This girl Janie is having a nightmare.
how would i write the part or when she wakes up?
NOT by an alarm clock. i dont like those 
its like this;
-bad dream here-
Janie woke up from her dream
But when she wakes up what do i put ? Just “Janie wakes up from thhe nightmare”
??
I agree with the previous answer. You could make it all fade out by slowly describing how each part of the nightmare starts to go away as reality starts to sink in, and then have her wake up by “Then her eyes fluttered open and she looked around. She was in bed.” or something along that line.
Or, if the nightmare is really terrifying, you could make her wake up from surprise. Some people wake up from a nightmare if they get surprised in their dream, if they get so scared that they realize it has to be a nightmare, or they just wake up ready to attack or scream. To pull this off you could simply have them get started awake, and describe her going from the dream world to reality in an instant, then how she slowly realizes what just happened and where she is.
