Her long, dark hair is pulled back into a high-cheerleader like ponytail. She wears a black, strapless dress embroidered with black beads at catch the torchlight. She eyes me with dark brown, almost warm eyes.
The first thing that I thought of was Camilla, then I went on to Vanessa, Amelia, Layla (or Leila), Lacey, or Raela. These are just my opinion. I hope it helps.
One other thing, if this is a snippet from a book, then the “cheerleader like ponytail” takes away from the exotic-ness of the character, especially with her black stapless beaded gown in the torchlight. Maybe say, “her black, hair was pulled back at the crown of her head and flowed down her back.” Otherwise it is good!
