Children’s Wedding Favors
At a recent family wedding there were a small number of children under the age of 7 years attending with their parents. The bride wisely gave the children do it yourself wedding favors made by herself and the groom.
At the table in front of the children’s place cards where not only the traditional almonds in the love heart shapes in a silver box but also a clear plastic favor box in the shape of a teddy bear filled to the brim with dolly mixtures.
The childrens place cards were a name tag wrapped around the napkin. Inside a mug the lovely wedding favour was placed. A suggestion for a wedding gift bag may be a Disney cartoon figure on the front with the child’s name written above the cartoon picture.
Squeals of delight were heard around the room as the young people were also given bubbles as a wedding favours . Each little child had a great time blowing bubbles to each other, eating the candy after their dinner . They tried all night to drink as much juice as their parents would allow out of their now favorite mug.
Another wedding we attended the bride had given the children a glass with their name on the front and a funny cartoon figure. The glass was filled with children’s favorite candy. The girls were given a cute little tradition bear which was personalised from the bride and groom. With the children’s name . The date of the marriage and bride and grooms name. The boys were given little chocolate racing cars inside silver tankards
Another idea for a young girls gift bag would be to fill to the brim with dressing up accessories. A favorite colour amongst young girls is the color pink. A pink boa and tiara could be included in the party bag. Also include a pale pink lip balm in the flavor strawberry. When filling the childrens party bag remember and fill the bag with candy.
Not forgetting the boys. Who could resist a magic party bag? This will keep the boys amused for a while. The childrens wedding favor gift bag can include a fish which reportley tells everyones fortune when placed in the palm of your hand and a wriggly worm in luminous green. The children can keep the wedding guests amused by asking all the guests if they wish their fortune told.
