What are some crafty ideas for room decor?
So i just got new furniture and now im wondering if there are any ways to make my room..i dont know more personalized but i want it to look nice too. my walls are lime green and my bedspread is deifferent shades of blue,green, and brown polka dots. i already have a ton of pictures on my walls and im just looking for some cute,original,unique ideas. thanks(:

Saw your post and thought it was interesting because in my business I’m usually asked to take the personality out of a room. (FYI, I am a professional home stager.)
Anyway, have you thought about making a custom lamp shade for your bedside or desk lamp? I know Joann’s has kits for very little money. You just buy 1/2 yard of fabric and attach it to the peel and stick shade. You can add fringe to the bottom if you’d like. Crafty and easy.
I’ve also taken a plain tailored bedskirt and added ribbon around the bottom with iron-on fusable web (such as Stitch-witchery). Also easy and no-sew.
Do you have a pull-down window shade? You can add ribbon along the bottom edge and use a decorative tassel for the pull.
